Power X Is an empowerment support group designed for Latino/x men/trans men to come together, support and enhance them selves with activities involving group meetings and activities that would help all members become more educated and involved in creating awareness and success stories.

MISSION
​
Power X stands for respect, humanity, education, and inclusiveness to create awareness and well-being outcomes in the Latin / Latin X community. With our group we help our men become better as humans by providing topics that will expand our resources for a better future in a safe but fun environment.
​
OVERVIEW
​
Our group will come together monthly with planned calendar events, virtually or in person if possible, with Covid-19 restrictions in place to:

Familiarize and include all members and welcome any new members with love and respect

Discuss open humanity topics

Learn new strategies to improve the well-being of the community

Celebrate all Latin culture with seminars, educational presentations, and fun activities

Collaborate with the community in aspects of integrity, education, career, sexual health, LGBTQ topics of daily life and workplace development

Host fun and informational webinars according to suggestions that best fit the group
GROUP AGREEMENTS

All Power X members will keep in mind the following:

Have an open mind mentality

Avoid conflictions and negative behavior including, sexual harassment & put downs of any kind.

Be mindful of other ethnicities, backgrounds, religion, and beliefs.

Inform facilitator/s of any information that will adhere to the best attributes of the group.
Power X is empowered and formed on behalf of the Oakland LGBTQ community center.
Power X es un grupo de apoyo de empoderamiento diseñado para hombres latinos / Latinx Y hombres trans para que se reúnan, se apoyen y mejoren a sí mismos con actividades que involucren reuniones grupales y actividades que ayudarían a todos los miembros a estar mas al tanto y involucrados en crear conciencia e historias de éxito.
NUESTRA MISIÓN
Power X significa respeto, humanidad, educación e inclusión para crear conciencia y resultados de bienestar en la comunidad Latin / Latin X. Con nuestro grupo, ayudamos a nuestros hombres a mejorar como seres humanos al proporcionar temas que ampliarán nuestros recursos para un futuro mejor en un entorno seguro pero divertido.

VISIÓN GENERAL
Nuestro grupo se reunirá mensualmente con eventos de calendario planificados, de forma virtual o en persona con restricciones de Covid-19 para:

Familiarizar e incluir a todos miembros y dar la bienvenida a los nuevos miembros con amor y respeto.
• Discutir temas de humanidad abierta.
• Aprender nuevas estrategias para mejorar el bienestar de la comunidad.
• Celebrar toda la cultura latina con seminarios, presentaciones educativas y actividades divertidas
• Colaborar con la comunidad en aspectos de integridad, educación, carrera, salud sexual, temas
LGBTQ de la vida rutinaria y dersarollo laboral.
• Organizar seminarios web divertidos e informativos de acuerdo con las sugerencias que mejor se
Adapten al grupo.

ACUERDOS DE GRUPO

Todos los miembros de Power X tendrán en cuenta lo siguiente:
• Trataremos a cada miembro como nos gustaría que nos traten.
• Tenga una mentalidad abierta.
• Evitaremos conflictos y comportamientos negativos, incluido el acoso sexual y las humillaciones de cualquier tipo.
• Sea consciente de otras etnias, antecedentes, religión y creencias.
